2011 Shrimp Festival Poster Contest ; Gulf Shores, AL (GSA)- The Alabama Gulf Coast Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking artists to submit original artwork for consideration in the 2011 Annual National Shrimp Festival poster contest. The 40th Annual National Shrimp Festival presented by Zatarain’s will be held October 13-16, 2011 in Gulf Shores.
Criteria for poster consideration consist of a poster theme which includes art, food, and music. The words “40th Annual National Shrimp Festival” and “2011” must also be included in artwork. The actual size of the poster should measure approximately 18 inches horizontal by 24 inches vertical. Artist may only submit one (1) piece of original artwork. The selected artist will receive one payment of $1,000.
