Russian Fishing to closing dangerous waters work on quickly
The Russian Fishing Ministry will work out a mechanism that will enable the rapid closure of parts of the sea dangerous for shipping, said the deputy head of the agency Vasily Sokolov.
The recent situation in the Sakhalin Gulf, with four ships becoming stranded in ice, highlighted the need for a solution to this problem. Incidentally, the last ship became ice-bound on January 3rd, after the operation to free the first three vessels, which got stuck on the 30th of December.
