Lewisville, TX - Based at Lake Park, the 3rd Annual North Texas Big Bass Classic comes to Lake Lewisville on September 25-26, 2010; offering amateur bass anglers the chance to compete for thousands in cash and prizes. The angler with the largest overall big bass of the tournament will take home a 2011 Nitro Z7 valued over $25,000.
The North Texas Big Bass Classic will be open to amateur anglers only. Anglers will compete for thousands in hourly cash payouts throughout the two day event. There will be seven hourly weigh-ins each day with the overall largest fish of the event earning the winner a fully rigged 2011 Nitro Z7 powered by Mercury. The first 100 anglers to pre-register for this event will receive a custom Oakley 7' MH Carolina Rod valued at $150. Anglers may pre-register for this event online at www.oakleybigbass.com Anglers may also register by phone, fax or mail. Additionally, mandatory event registration will be held at Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine, Texas on Friday September 24th from 11am-8pm. Anglers may pick up registration forms at Bass Pro Shops. BASS PRO SHOP GRAPEVINE SERIES - LAKE LEWISVILLE MAY 9TH!
The Bass Pro Shop Grapevine Tournament Series will be making its second stop of the season at Lake Lewisville on Sunday May 9th!
The tournament will be staged at Lewisville Lake Park - Ramp # 2. The gates to Lake Park will open at 5:00am. Anglers check-in and open registration will open at 5:00am and the tournament will launch at safe light with the weigh-in at 3:00pm.

The Bassmaster Central Opens will kick off Thursday on Lake Lewisville; anglers from all over the country are expected to descend upon the city.
The Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Central Open begins with a two-day competition Thursday and Friday. Only the top 12 in the pro and co-angler divisions will compete Saturday, the final day of the competition. Anglers will begin both days 6:45 a.m. at Lewisville Lake Park, 100 E. Lake Park Road. The first two day’s weigh-ins will be held at 3 p.m. at the park. Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine will host the final weigh-in at 3:45 p.m. All launches and weigh-ins are free and open to the public.
“We’ve had about five tournaments in Lewisville, and we’re excited to be back,” said Melissa Dixon, communications coordinator for BASS. “Anglers from all over the country, including Arkansas, Minnesota, Colorado and California are competing in this event.
