A common problem when using skirted bait such as spinnerbaits and buzzbaits is that the little rubberband on the skirts often breaks off, well here’s a good bass fishing tip to help make it last longer.
After the bass bait has been used a bit, the rubber band holding the skirt rods ends up rotting and the skirt rubber ends up all over the place – it’s messy and not only that, you’ve lost your skirt.
Well here’s a best bass fishing tip that can help u save some cash.
Get hold a twist tie from garbage bags or sandwich bags, you know those little things that always end up in the way in the kitchen and put it in your tackle box.
Stip the paper off the kitchen tie and wrap it over the rubberband a couple of time and twist tie it into place. Make sure you cut the excess wire off.
Once it’s on you can hardly see the wire and the skirts stay in place for years – which is pretty cool.
You can also use braided line over the jigs and skirted baits, but I find the kitchen tie the easiest cause if you use the fishing line, you will need to super glue it on.... READ MORE
