Missouri
•LAKE OF THE OZARKS:37 degrees, clear, 1 1/2 feet low. Outlook: Gier’s Bass Pro reports: bass good on jerkbaits, jigs off main-lake and secondary points; crappies good on jigs, minnows in the brush and along condo docks.
•NORFORK: 45 degrees, clear, 7 feet low. Outlook:Bink’s Guide Service reports: bass good on spinnerbaits, crankbaits along the banks; stripers good on shiners, Bink’s Spoons in deep water.
•BULL SHOALS: 46 degrees, clear, 5 feet low. Outlook: 125 Marina reports: largemouth bass fair on Gitzits in 20 feet of water; crappies fair on worms, jigs in the brush.
•LONGVIEW: 33 degrees, 24-inch clarity, near normal. Open water on the main lake, ice in the coves. Outlook: Longview Lake Marina reports: crappies good to excellent on jigs off the marina docks (many keeper fish being caught).
•SMITHVILLE: 33 degrees, fairly clear, 2 feet low. Ice on the main lake and in the coves. Outlook: Camp Branch Marina reports: crappies fair on jigs, minnows off the marina docks. Very light fishing pressure because of the weather.
•TRUMAN: 33 degrees, mostly clear, 1 foot high. Outlook:Rocky Top Bait and Tackle reports: crappies fair to good on jigs in 25 to 30 feet of water along protected bluffs. Below the dam: crappies fair (but mostly small) on jigs in the deadwater channel.
•STOCKTON:44 degrees, clear, 2 1/2 feet low. Outlook:Stockton Lake Guide Service reports: crappies very good on jigs in 30 to 50 feet of water under shad schools.
•TABLE ROCK: 45 degrees, clear, 6 1/2 feet low. Outlook: White River Lodge reports: bass good on jigging spoons in 30 to 50 feet of water.
•TANEYCOMO: 45 degrees, clear, variable power generation. Outlook:Lilley’s Landing reports: trout good on white PowerBait, jigs, minnows below Fall Creek and on No. 12 gray scud flies in the Trophy Area.
•JACOMO: 34 degrees, clear, normal. Ice in the coves and along the banks, main lake has some open water. Outlook:Lake Jacomo Marina reports: crappies fair on jigs, small jigging spoons in the brush off the marina docks.
•JAMES A. REED: 33 degrees, clear, full pool. Ice on the lakes, but not safe for ice fishing. Outlook: Missouri Department of Conservation reports: trout fair on jigs through the ice off the dock on Coot Lake.
•POMME DE TERRE: 36 degrees, clear, 3 1/2 feet low. Ice in coves. Outlook: Nemo Landing reports: all species poor.
Kansas
•COFFEY COUNTY: 67 degrees at the hot-water outlet, 39 degrees on the main lake, clear, normal. Outlook: Coffey County reports: largemouth bass good on spinnerbaits, Rat-L-Traps, crankbaits; white bass very good, wipers good on Rat-L-Traps, plastic baits, jigging spoons.
•GLEN ELDER: 33 degrees, clear, 2 feet low. Ice is 7 to 8 inches thick. Outlook: Little Bait Shop reports: crappies good, stripers fair on jigs, wax worms through the ice off Bowler Point. A 31-inch striper was caught through the ice this week.
•PERRY: 34 degrees, clear, 2 feet low. Ice in coves and parts of the main lake. Outlook: Perry Yacht Marina reports: crappies fair on jigs in 8 feet of water and deeper on the main lake.
•HILLSDALE: 33 degrees, clear, 1 foot low. Coves, boat ramps have ice. Outlook: Jayhawk Marina reports: crappies fair on jigs in 20 feet of water off the marina docks.
•MELVERN: 35 degrees, clear, 1 1/2 feet low. Some ice. Outlook: Melvern Lake Marina reports: crappies fair on jigs, ice jigs off marina docks.
•POMONA: 34 degrees, fairly clear, 1 1/2 feet low. Ice on lake. Outlook: Lighthouse Bay Marina reports: all species poor.
•LA CYGNE: 48 degrees, clear, 2 feet low. Difficult access because of snow and ice at ramps. Outlook: Linn County Parks reports: all species poor.
•CLINTON: 33 degrees, clear, 1 foot low. Ice on the lake. Outlook: Clinton Lake Marina reports: all species poor.
•WILSON: 33 degrees, clear, 1 foot low. Some ice, main lake is open. Not safe for ice fishing. Outlook: Wildlife and Parks reports: all species poor.
•MILFORD: 34 degrees, clear, 1 foot low. Ice on lake. Outlook: Clem’s Corner reports: all species poor.
•HERITAGE: 34 degrees, clear, normal. Ice on lake. Outlook: Johnson County Park and Rec reports: all species poor.
