Tug Boat Captain Indicted For Negligent Homicide in Collision with Fishing Boat
A local tug boat captain was arrested today for an incident last summer that killed two fishermen.
A grand jury indicted 39-year old Warren Luetke on criminally negligent homicide.
He was the pilot of the Bearcat.. A commercial tug owned by Serodino Incorporate.
Two of the three fishermen on the boat were killed.
The indictment also charges Luetke with reckless operation of a boat and failure to render assistance.
His tug never stopped after the collision.
Family members of the victims declined to comment on the arrest today.
