Crews rescue 1 after boat capsizes
The rapid water from a Kentucky Dam spillway capsized a small boat that got too close to the gate, leaving two fishermen drowned and a third heroically rescued.
According to Brent Stringer, Livingston County’s emergency management director, 911 calls started coming in from witnesses about 10:10 a.m., several reporting that a recreational fishing boat flipped over near an open dam spillway gate, tossing the three fishermen into the turbulent waters.
