Daiwa Dorking will represent England in next year’s World Club Championship after winning the two day qualifier on Newark Dyke.

Just weeks after victory in the Angling Times Team Champs final, they took the split match, which was sponsored by Preston and attended by the top 10 finishing teams in the Division 1 National, with a 42 point score. This was comfortably in front of Browning Hotrods on 53 and Kamasan Starlets on 55.

Hotrods’ Tim Nash won the event individually with a perfect two section wins, ironically after drawing the same peg both days!
